Term: AES 3id
AES information document about transmission of AES3 (1) signal by unbalanced (2) coaxial cable. This standard defines a digital audio format which is transmitted by unbalaced signal and using 75 ohm coaxial cable, BNC connectors and signal levels of 1 Vpp. It used in video installations where the signal routing is made with switches or in places where there are a very high length (up to 1000 m).
