Success story
Adan Martin auditorium (Tenerife)
A cultural lighthouse in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The Adán Martín Auditorium, located in the beautiful city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is an emblematic symbol of culture and the arts in the Canary Islands. Opened in 2005, this prestigious space features a modern and avant-garde architectural design by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. With a capacity for more than 1,600 spectators, the auditorium has established itself as a benchmark for hosting cultural events, concerts, conferences, and dance performances.

Consulting and integration: a prize-winning project
The project consultancy was carried out by GD Consulting, while the integration firm was Telesonic. The latter commissioned Pínanson to custom-manufacture the audiovisual boxes and panels needed to provide the Adan Martin Auditorium in Tenerife with the appropriate connectivity infrastructure.

The project won the “Best Project for Existing Buildings” Award from the COIT (College of Telecommunications Engineers) to Miguel Ángel Vaquero of Auditorio de Tenerife, S.A.U. The jury recognized that the project meets the technological and audiovisual needs of theaters and auditoriums to host world-class events.

“Connectivity, AV infrastructure, and good workmanship”
This is how Ander López from Telesonic’s engineering department describes what they wanted to reach and solve with the manufacture of the Pínanson AV boxes, manufactured according to Telesonic’s engineering specifications.
Wall Rack boxes were designed for surface-mounted installation, built-in, and with doors, with corresponding panels containing XLR, BNC, RJ45, Triax, and SMPTE 304 connectors.

Wall Rack Boxes, the preferred choice for auditoriums
At Pínanson, we can provide numerous examples of different auditoriums and opera houses that, over time and around the world, have opted for the Wall Rack enclosure as the perfect solution for installation in these venues.
The Teatro Real in Madrid, the Gergely Csiky Theatre (Hungary), the Royal Swedish Opera (Sweden), the Teatro Monumental in Madrid, and the Adan Martin Auditorium are some successful examples in which Pínanson Wall Rack boxes are an important part of the audiovisual signal connection at these iconic venues where the highest-quality shows are held.
The integration of this format of box allows for efficient management of audiovisual signals, ensuring usability and fluidity in daily work. It is a versatile design that adapts to the technical and aesthetic requirements of each theater.
Centralized signals in 19″ rack
Additionally, 19″ panels were supplied with the necessary connectors to ensure comprehensive connectivity for all types of audiovisual signals that will be transmitted in the Tenerife auditorium. These panels are designed to provide a flexible and efficient solution, allowing for the connection of audio, video, and data devices in an organized and accessible way.

Organization in the connection without forgetting the corporate aesthetics
Adaptability and organization are essential in a dynamic environment like an auditorium, where the quality of audiovisual production has a direct impact on the audience experience. Having an efficient connection system minimizes interruptions and maximizes the fluidity of signal transmission, helping each event meet the highest quality standards.
In the products we design and manufacture at Pínanson, aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand. Thus, each audiovisual enclosure is manufactured according to our client’s specifications, also taking into account the customization of the product in terms of corporate aesthetics: printing the auditorium logo on the AV box and panels reinforces the brand’s presence and creates a coherent and recognizable image.
