Carnival Vista

Last year the great Carnival Vista cruise left port for the first time.

A ship’s audiovisual connection needs are similar to those of any other installation, with one thing to bear in mind: a humid, salty environment is a bad friend of electrical connections.

In order to avoid as much as possible problems in the AV installation due to sea-environment, the ship’s system integrators decided to install most of the connection panels in IP66 stainless steel AV boxes with lid-protected connectors.

For the less critical places in the cruise, custom made Wall Plates and TBAT floor boxes were installed. Our client specified the dimensions, colour and print of each box.
