This measurement indicates output level of a device which is stimulated with different frequencies (in audio signal from 20Hz up to 20.000 Hz) at a determinate input level. A “flat response” describes the graphic shape when the device has the same response in all range, with slope ‘0’ and very small variations.
A “flat response” is an ideal response of a device if operate with the same level at any frequency, is required.
