Term: RGB SIGNAL
The RGB signal is a video signal representing the color Red- Green- Blue , the primary colors of television. Usually called Component Video signal as is divided into its component colors . When these analog signals are carried separately, better image resolution is achieved .
These signals can be carried by separate cables using a hose or multiple cables. These cables can be: [Y, R-Y, B-Y ] or [Y, Pb, Pr] or [ YUV ] or VGA , SVGA, SGA etc.
So that three coaxial cables would be used to transmit the signal components. The horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals ( H and V ) are carried out, usually along with the video signal ‘ Green ‘ through the Green coaxial. But for more control you can use a single coaxial signal for this signal, ie , 4 coaxial cables in total : RGBS or with 5 coaxial (coax cable for each signal ) : RGBHV .
