A Stereophonic or Stereo signal is an audio signal composed of two different audio channels Left (L) and Right (R). These signals (Left and Right) transmit different signals, creating a realistic acoustic sensation because the human ears are positioned separately (left and right) and thus receive different acoustic signals.
