Wanda Metropolitano signal distribution
The safe way to distribute the audio signal to the media in an event is by means of a distributor or press splitter: signal isolation by transformer, output level potentiometers … If the room’s installation carries the audio over a Dante network, the SMC Dante splitter can be connected to that network and give the press the signal already converted to analogue.
The Wanda Metropolitano stadium has an audio distributor in the club’s museum. The Dante network signal reaches the distributor from the network switch through CAT.6 RJ45 cable, the equipment converts it to 16 analog signals that will be available for the connection of the press equipment through XLR.
On the other hand, the stadium’s press rooms are equipped with 3G-SDI analog audio and digital video distribution equipment, a complete solution for optimally distributing professional signals to the attending media in the sports stadium.
