– I need the mic-line signals from stage to be sent independently to FOH and Monitors, since independent control of the preamps is required. So I need to distribute these signals to 2 different consoles, how can I do it?

– The equipment you need is an audio distributor for micro-line signals that distributes each of the signals to both consoles.

– I would like to make the stage connections using several individual connection boxes distribuited around the stage

– It is very common and practical. You need Remote Boxes of the channels you require 8, 12, 16… and the corresponding multipairs connected to each box by LK multiconnector, for example. These multipair connections will be connected to the inputs of the micro-line audio distributor.

– Could I integrate this distributor in the same flight case as my Digital Stage Box

– We could do it through a Digi Rack Box (DR). In this way, in addition:
1. You save the multicore going to the PA Digital Stage Box.
2. You avoid making direct connections/disconnections on your digital Stage Box.
3. You have the possibility of including a Remote Box Patching module to reorder the channels as required in each event.

– And otherwise, how could it be?

– You would have the audio distributor in its own flight case type: Briefcase (M) or Great Event (G) and you would need multicores to be connected to both Digital Stage Boxes: FOH and monitors.

– And what if I need to distribute the signals to a third recording console from an external company in addition to FOH and Monitors ?

– Your audio distributor would include outputs with galvanic isolation, by means of a transformer, to avoid possible problems with equipment outside your company.
